Upcoming AGM Important Information

Attached below are key documents and legislative references for all shareholders wishing to better understand the governance structure and direction of Pōkapu Proprietors.

  1. Legislation for Guidance – This outlines the legal framework that governs Māori land ownership and management, providing context for the decisions and responsibilities of the Proprietors. Shareholders are encouraged to read this for a deeper understanding of the principles guiding our operations and constitutional development.

  2. Original Constitution – The founding document that has guided Pōkapu Proprietors to date. It reflects the foundational values, structure, and management processes that have shaped our journey so far.

  3. Draft Constitution – A proposed evolution of the original, developed to strengthen governance, align with current legislation, and ensure a sustainable and transparent future for the collective. This draft will be discussed in detail and, once finalised, will replace and update the existing constitution. This will be provided in person. Or to verified accounts of shareholders.

We encourage all shareholders to review these documents carefully to stay informed and engaged in shaping the next chapter of Pōkapu’s growth.

Together, we carry forward the vision of the land and the people.
